Art that inspires

Sphera | Bangalore

Symbolizing the Idea of sustainability : May 2023, World Environment Day – Got a golden opportunity to create artefacts for Sphera, Bangalore. The existing logo is simple and beautiful. I was excited to add my bit to compliment the existing design the logo.
Crafted mainly using 100s of wrist-watch parts collected over a decade and other found materials. The artefact is aimed to encourage and appreciate the art of recycling – Highlighting the core values of Sphera. #sustainability #recycling #sphera #worldsenvironmentday #ewaste

Banyans are ecological linchpins –
They sustain many species of birds, fruit bats, primates and other creatures, which in turn disperse the seeds of hundreds of other plant species. The artwork is created using 5kgs of recycled materials – discarded MDF sheets, plastic sheets, old flex banners, eco solvent sticker, colours.

Big Idea –
Had a wonderful experience with Sphera team (Bangalore).
Presenting – theme based installation created using using recycled materials for World Environment Day.

Overall, 6kg of trash used comprising flex banners, x ray sheets, packaging materials, scrapped electric cables etc
The BIG idea : Amalgam of LCD display panels, CDs, broken mobile covers and more. Over 5 kgs of plastic up-cycled in the making of the artefact. #recycling #foundmaterials #artfromtrash #8mango #8mangoarts
